We have 11 personality types on our test, and Sigma is one of the deepest. It is also the one people clock instantly, because "sigma" is a meme by now. So let's actually open it up. What is under the joke?

On your result card, Sigma is the friend whose shower thoughts need a podcast. That line is doing more work than it looks, and it is not random.

Here is the real thing beneath it. In the Big Five, the trait behind Sigma is Openness. You land on Sigma when Openness is what stands out most strongly on the positive side of your profile, more differentiated than anything else. Openness is basically how open you are to new experiences, new ideas, and new ways of seeing things.

Openness is not one single thing though. It splits into six facets: imagination, artistic interest, emotional depth, willingness to try new things, intellectual curiosity, and openness to unconventional ideas.
