people need truth
Open the feed and everyone looks so successful, and somewhere in the back of the head a question shows up, why not me? But the ones who tried and failed are never seen, feeds and history love winners.
Phones and social media, sure, built to hook people, but the other half of the truth is people scroll because they're bored. And bored because of what? Life not what they want? Doing only what they like? Childhood logic doesn't carry over.
And then at some point comes the decision to change everything. Watching motivation videos, temporary but they work. Reading self-help books, beautiful words making you feel in control, but mostly water under them.
Visualization is the next stop. Imagine a new house and it comes, but only the matches get remembered. Misses get blamed on you not wanting it enough. Blockers unlocked or deleted, trackers abandoned after a week, some feel like progress. But progress to what?
And when nothing works, the next step is asking someone who knows. Others' opinions always shaped by what only worked for them. Their timing, their personality, their connections. AI is no different. It doesn't know the person, doesn't see through their eyes.
The real answer is boring. Understanding yourself so deeply that understanding becomes the one driving your life. The rest is peeling the layers until what's underneath is you. Add real goals on top, and you're unstoppable.
Otherwise, imagine a car. Good engine, full tank, hands on the wheel, foot pressing the gas to the floor. Road ahead is empty. Handbrake still on. The engine roars, the car crawls, smell of burning rubber filling the cabin, the whole machine fighting itself meter by meter. And the driver keeps pressing harder.
nightmare.
